One of the biggest things that I took away from the TED Talk was that businesses form leadership in their workers is by hiring people that care about the mission. This is definitely something that huge tech conglomerates have prioritized, the biggest example that comes to mind being Google. Google is well-known for their hiring methods because of how out of the box it is, because they don’t want to hire people that are just good at what they do. They want to hire people that are passionate about Google’s mission, have passion in their work, and truly want to make a difference. That’s how they’re not only able to foster true leaders from their employees but also able be a leader in the tech industry.
